Music, games and teddy bear’s galore! All children (young and the young at heart) are invited to bring along their favourite bear friend for a fun filled day. Board in Quorn for a 2.30pm departure and enjoy the teddy bear themed carriages for the merry journey to Woolshed Flat where there will be games, a teddy bear’s parade and music to enjoy.

The Afghan Express (from Port Augusta) and Pichi Richi Explorer (from Quorn) meet at Woolshed Flat and travel to Quorn as a steam double header.

Get on board for some wintry yuletide cheer! Enjoy nibbles and licensed bar on board our festive carriages on your steam train journey to the Old Willows Brewery Restaurant. Settle around the roaring log fire to enjoy a three-course Christmas feast.

The Transcontinental and Pichi Richi Explorer both depart Quorn at 10.30am and travel as a double header to Woolshed Flat. The Transcontinental continues to Port Augusta and passengers have plenty of time to enjoy lunch or visit the many attractions before departing Port Augusta at 2.30pm for a 4.30 arrival in Quorn.
