Get on board for some wintry yuletide cheer! Celebrate in July, away from the hectic activity of December, and truly relax and enjoy the experience.
As you arrive at Port Augusta Railway Station you’ll be greeted by a familiar looking fellow in a red suit. Embark on carriages resplendent with festive decorations and enjoy nibbles, a licensed bar and Christmas music on your steam train journey to Pichi Richi Park.
Settle around the roaring log fire to enjoy a spectacular view of Devil’s Park and a three course Christmas feast. The set menu lunch includes traditional roast turkey and suckling pig and of course delicious traditional Christmas pudding.
The Christmas in July train departs Port Augusta Railway Station at 10:30am and returns at 4:45pm. The fare includes train travel and a 3 course festive luncheon. Click here to view the luncheon menu.
